What makes you - YOU?

Fox Fables is a combination of several Aesop's Fables, inspired by the works of the 12th century storyteller Rabbi Berechiah ha-Nakdan.

The story is about a fox who loses his precious tail and with it his identity. He tries to be several other animals instead - with hilarious results - before realizing the moral lesson of this ancient fable.

Themes in this tale include self-worth, anti-bullying, test taking, and the five senses.

"Chicken Soup, Chicken Soup" is a puppet show based on the beloved PJ Library book by Pamela Mayer, co-developed at the 14th Street Y Theater.

The story revolves around two grandmothers, one Jewish and one Chinese, who come up with elaborate ways to show their granddaughter that their cultural heritage (their chicken soup) is the best. We visit the Book of Ruth as well as the Monkey King.

The themes in this story include mixed-race families, cultural heritage, and the joy of cooking.

Chicken Soup, Chicken Soup was incubated and premiered at the 14th St Y Theater.

It's a Hanukkah emergency!

When three monsters steal the village's menorah, dreidel and shamash candle, it's up to the least likely person of all to win it back.

This extremely silly Hanukkah tale is about mindfulness, making friends, empathy, and problem solving.

When the evil Haman threatens the Jews of Persia, it's up to the brave Esther and her clever uncle Mordecai to save the day in this Purim Shpiel.

Beauty contests, a forgetful King and a lottery of DOOM comprise the traditional story of Purim, based on the Book of Esther.

Can our heroes unravel Haman's plot in time, or will all the Jews of Persia be destroyed?

Go, Esther, Go!
